Romans

Romans is one of the most powerful letters you'll read from the bible. Romans is all about the faith and spreading the gospel. In my life it pushes me to spread the word and reading in depth gives me faith and hope in the Lord. I really enjoy reading this book and so do others.

Romans was written to prove the gospel. It was also written to help the Christians in Rome share the gospel and have faith. The first eleven chapters are all about the foundation of the faith and the last five are all about incorporating faith into your life.

A man named John Calvin said after he read Romans:
If a man understands it, he has a sure road opened for him to the understanding of the whole Scripture.
After Martin Luther taught about Romans saying:
Night and day I pondered until . . . I grasped the truth that the righteousness of God is that righteousness whereby, through grace and sheer mercy, he justifies us by faith. Thereupon I felt myself to be reborn and to have gone through open doors into paradise. The whole scripture took on new meaning, and whereas before the `righteousness of God' had filled me with hate, now it became to me inexpressibly sweet in greater love. This passage in Paul became to me a gateway to heaven After Martin Luther taught about Romans saying:

And finally Willian Tyndale said:

Every Christian should learn it by heart.

The Roman Road is a very popular way to lead people to Christ. Here is a brief overview on  the steps of the roman road.

  1. You must acknowledge that God is the creator of everything
  2. Confess that we are sinners and we need to forgiven by God
  3. Know God paved a way to forgive our sin for forever no matter what
  4. If we don't change our ways as sinners we will die, but if we repent we will have eternal life.
  5. Romans 10:9-10
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
  6. Romans 10:13
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
  7. Romans 11:36
For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.
